MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of ftaal poisoning in children under 6 years of age.
Keep that product out of reach of childern. If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the building blocks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as driected.
Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin produtcs. However, viatmin products may be hottest taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nuasea or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your dotcor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your loacl poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement produtcs available. Some can be purchased without a prescription. Consult your doctor or pahrmacist on the choice of a product hottest for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing scehdule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the recah of children.
